BIO:
Jeremy Murphy is a digital artist with 19 years experience, whose work can be seen in games by Disney, Microsoft, Capcom, Big Fish Games, and Hitpoint Studios, as well as many other independent studio projects. His work can also be found in corporate promotion materials for companies like JMC Supply, Komodo Refrigeration, Nanoshave, and J.M.Curleys.
Born and raised in the suburbs outside of Boston, he always had a great passion for two things: art and video games. After finishing the digital graphics program at Quincy College, he moved on to doing graphics work for the music studio MDI as a contract artist. Here, he honed his skills creating album covers, press kits, and promotion material. From there, he went on to create art for Hitpoint Studios, which gave him the chance to work on games like Adera, Disney Fairies, Guardians of Magic and more.
He's worked in a range of roles from 2d Concept Artist, Character Designer, Environmetal Artist and 3d High Poly Modeler, as well as UI Designer and Graphic Artist. Even after becoming a veteran of most things related to digital art, he still enjoys improving his skills as an illustrator through practice and learning about different artistic styles and trends in the ever evolving market. While his focus remains on 2d digital art using tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, and Corel Painter, he's also experienced with 3d modeling tools like 3ds Max, Keyshot, and Zbrush.
